This notice explains the information used by the ScrapingDome website and contact form.
Contact enquiries
When you contact us, we receive the name, email, source information and project details you provide. Optional company, refresh-frequency and delivery details help us understand the enquiry. We use this information to respond, assess the proposed work and manage the resulting conversation.
The form also includes the page it was submitted from and any supported campaign labels on that page. Do not send passwords, authentication tokens, sensitive personal records or confidential datasets through this form.
Delivery and service providers
Enquiries are sent by email using our hosting and SMTP infrastructure. Providers involved in hosting and email delivery process the information needed to provide those services. Website requests may also produce technical server logs used for operation and security.
Website measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 on production pages to measure visits, campaign traffic and selected interactions. Its Google tag may use first-party analytics cookies and sends page URLs, browser or device information, and event names such as contact starts or successful enquiries to Google; it does not send form field values. Campaign labels and Google Ads click IDs in a landing-page URL may be used for attribution. Google Signals and ad personalization are disabled. The tag does not load in development or preview, or when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
Separately, our site records allowlisted page views, case-study views, contact-link clicks and form interactions as daily totals by page and event for 90 days. These counters do not store visitor identifiers, cookies, referrers, query strings or form contents. Separate contact security controls use a keyed hash of the connection address to limit repeated submissions. Contact event logs record operational outcomes without the contents of your enquiry, name or email address.
Your display preference
If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser stores that preference locally. It is used only to remember the selected appearance and is not sent to the website measurement endpoint.
